When I first met Tyler Neasloney I was so nervous and felt very insecure about my skills as a designer especially when handing them over to a current Project Runway contestant. All I could think of was, "He had to beat out thousands to get a place on that show, what will he think of me and my designs".
I think as a self taught designer himself Tyler understood some of my feelings. BoiPKG's first fashion show NYFW 2020 line was constructed by Tyler. He continues to collaborate with BoiPKG in what I hope to be a long friendship and relationship.
Tyler Neasloney launched his eponymous label in January of 2019 with a focus on bespoke gowns, dresses, stage wear, and custom luggage. Entirely self-taught, Tyler's love of design and garment construction began when his mother—a master quilter and seamstress—taught him how to sew at a very young age.
Originally from Wyoming, Tyler moved to New York City in 2012, working first in the publishing industry, and then for the Ali Forney Center—the country's largest non-profit dedicated to housing and caring for homeless LGBTQ+ youths.
Within months of launching his label, Tyler was selected to join the cast of Bravo's Project Runway season 18.
Tyler's design aesthetic is classic and refined—a bridge between the timeless elegance of mid-century glamour and the bold, empowered femininity of the sophisticated modern woman.
Lauded for his meticulous craftsmanship and painstaking attention to detail, Tyler is proud to dress people of all sizes and gender expression.
Philanthropy is a core pillar of the Tyler Neasloney brand. Tyler serves on the Board of Directors for the Liberty Humane Society, and continues to actively support the young people served by the Ali Forney Center.
